Hide empty catagories, show subcatagories on menu, show content in multiple tabl

    Thanks for developing this great theme!!

    I have a few questions for you:

    1. How can i hide empty categories on the main page? (not in the menu, i know that works fine already!!)

    2. How can i show subcategories instead of articles on the main page if the category doesn’t contain articles but only subcategories? At this moment all categories are shown, sub or not…i need only main categories to be shown.

    3. How can i show only the content of the category i opened, instead of all articles under that category including the contents of subcategories?

    4. How can i show the articles within a category in multiple columns?

    If needed i will be happy to send you screenshots of my current site, so you can see what i mean.

    My Knowledgebase will contain over 500 articles; thats why i seeking a solution for this…have to have 6 main categories which are divided in multiple subcategories. Olny articles in a specific subcategory must be shown, else the list of articles will be far too long ??

    Guess i found part of the solution by installing your “Very Simple Knowledge Base” plugin. Now i can create pages with only certain content.

    Might like to have answers to my questions though!

    Hi Mars,

    1 and 2: you can exclude categories via the Customizer.
    3: articles from a sub category should not be listed underneath it’s parent category (main category).. So I hope that’s not the case at your website?
    4: not possible without heavy coding, sorry.

    You can use my VSKB plugin with every theme. It has more options compared to my theme. To be honest, some time ago I decided to stop updating my themes, except for necessary updates. But I’m still not 100% sure..
