Hide event page

Hi there, i am currently trying to use fullcalendar plugin together with event manager plugin.

Purpose : i would wish to display the “events” going to happen on a calendar. So when user Hover over the events, information would be displayed.

Question : i would like to just allow my user to hover over the event and read the information from there. Is there anyway i could disable user from going into another page upon clicking on the event?
