Hide Feature Images boxes on main blog and pages

  • I will not be adding featured images because most folks use phones and it takes up too much space. I really want to go text only. I have read a few options for adding css code but so far none of them will remove those pink boxes that I do not want to use. How do I do that please? thank you.
