    Hi there,
I have been looking for a solution for my “featured image” for some time now. I would like to use these pictures only for a thumbnail preview. There are a number of solutions to hide the “featured image” from the single view of my posts. Therefore I have already solved this problem. But unfortunately the respective “featured image” is also shown as the first large image in my contribution list in every contribution. That’s my problem! How do I get the “featured image” hidden from my post list. I use the “Twenty Seventeen” themes and post articles in my menu using a category filter.

Everything I’ve found so far deals only with the “featured image” in single view or with the problem that the “featured image” should be replaced by contribution images. The only plugin that could possibly solve my problem would be “Hide Featured Image” but that doesn’t seem to have been developed for 2 years. Can someone give me a TIP on how I can solve the problem as a non-programmer.

    Viel Grü?e / Best wishes

The link decays on a list of articles. The first post has a “featured image” that is displayed directly after the heading. I would like to hide exactly this “featured image” at this point.
