Hide featured image on homepage

For the last few months, I’ve used CSS code to hide featured images from my homepage, as they clutter my site up. However, following the recent WP update, that code was deleted… and I cannot seem to find the one that works. I tried the following:

.home .post .featured-image {
display: none;
}

That’s not working. Any chance anyone has the simple code that’ll stop featured images from displaying on my homepage?
