• Hello,

We have the “Hide from Search” plugin (by @wpscholar) installed and active to help with hiding products we don’t want our customers to be able to search for on our site. It has been working really well until recently when we noticed that products that should be hidden can now be searched. I tried troubleshooting – keeping only the bare minimum plugins active and the products are still searchable. Is there any suggestion for what more I can do? This is important to us.
    Thanks so much.

@learningtheharp I just ran some tests on a clean WordPress install with WooCommerce and Hide from Search. Everything worked as expected.

Most likely, there is a plugin that is conflicting and probably overriding the query customizations that the Hide from Search plugin is making.

What may have changed since this last worked for you?

You can try testing with Plugin Detective since that doesn’t impact the front-end of your site.

@wpscholar, thanks so much for your response. Unfortunately when I tested with only “Hide from Search”, WooCommerce and WooCommerce Subscriptions active it still allowed our subscriptions to be visible even though we had the boxes ticked to ‘hide from WordPress search’ and ‘hide from search engines’. So with only these things active I can’t see what change might have happened to cause it to no longer work. All 3 of those plugins had no problem interacting previously.
