hide greeting and logout

    I just did a test it is the plugin.. it is adding that in there.

    I might have to find a new plugin to do what i want.

    The thing is by default WordPress offers the function of displaying a message that says “Hi username”. That is why I say it is the theme but I can not find the code in any of the files you have shared. I have also reviewed the plugin code and do not see how the plugin could be adding that text. Wish I could help further.

    Maybe someone else here will be able to help better than myself.

    incase you were interested. I changed plugins and had much better results. this plugin also did everything i needed in 1 plugin.
