Hide Login Area = 404 when logging out of admin panel

Whenever I log out of the admin interface with ‘Hide Login Area’ enabled, I always end up at an error 404 page. I think it has something to do with bbPress because when I disable that plugin, I end up at the login page instead of the 404 page.

I want to use bbPress AND have users end up at the homepage when they log out, instead of the 404 page OR the login page. Is this possible? The least I would like to get done is not getting a 404 when logging out, thanks!
