Hide menu buttons on start

Can I start a panorama with the menu interface hidden when someone opens a pano tour (so only the little eye icon is visible then)?
I changed the modal-config.php in the Civic directory, but I see no change (start hide interface set to true), but no change yet.
Do I need to set that somewhere else too or is this not how it works?

By the way, the more I work (play) with this plugin the more I’m liking it.
Does anyone have documentation on how to do some extra tweaking?
