Hi, is it possible to remove the metabox from all the post types except for the default WP posts?

By “metabox,” are you referring to the Podcast Episode box that PowerPress creates in the WordPress post editor?

Hi Shawn, yes, that’s exactly what I mean. I’d like to hide it for all the post types except for posts (articles). https://pasteboard.co/RIevNmk9ccTR.jpg

Thanks for the clarification. Are you currently using the Post-Type Podcasting function within PowerPress?

Post Type Podcasting is unchecked in Settings > Advanced, if that’s what you mean.

Yes, thanks for the clarification. What post types are you currently seeing the Podcast Episode box under where it shouldn’t be?

    (@jackoneill)

It’s available on posts (correct), pages and all my custom post types (wrong).

Thanks for the information. I’ve passed your request on to the Blubrry dev team. Will post any potential followups here.

In a recent PowerPress update, the Podcast Episode box was removed from the Pages post type. If this didn’t help with your situation, let us know.

Yes, it’s not available within pages anymore. But it’s still available within every custom post type.

The dev team said it’s not possible to remove the Podcast Episode box from custom post types. Sorry for the inconvenience.
