All field are always submitted. The plugin only hides the fields. In the email messages you can use conditional tags as well to only show what was visible during submit, but if you want to save the posted data in another way, you need to write your own logic.

There is a much simpler solution available in conditional fields PRO though: https://conditional-fields-cf7.bdwm.be/disable_on_hide/
By adding disable_on_hide to your group, you can make sure that hidden fields are not submitted. It also allows you to use the same field name [State] multiple times, meaning cleaner data in your saved submissions.

so buying using the pro version, I will able to see data of the submitted field only, right?

As I m also using a plugin for the contact form 7 database so, your pro version plugin will support that plugin and will display only that selected field only.

That’s the idea. Which db plugin are you using?

It’s important that your db plugin can handle changing forms. Some db plugins might parse the form code and naively expect that all field are present in the submission.

Feel free to give it a try, and let me know if it doesn’t work out for you. There’s a 30 day full refund guarantee, no questions asked.

I’m using that plugin in production as well, so I expect no problems with it.

To be completely honest: I have actually created a fork of this plugin that allows me to also edit the submissions afterwards, but in principle this plugin can handle changing forms.
