Hide on front page also hides from recent post widget

  • Hi, I’m having issues with the option to only hide on front page – I want the post (headline link) to be visable in the sidebar widget “recent/latest post”. I see that there is an option to hide it there, but I’m not crossing that box of course and therefore im thinking that it would be possible for the post link to stay there?

    How do I hide the post on front page but NOT in the recent post list at the same time? ??

    Hello @sofiaapexx,

    Currently there is no option to hide separately from side bar or specific page. If the recent widget is shown on the front page it will hide it there as well.

    The hide on recent posts option is for the old widgets that were used before the Gutenberg blocks that took over.

    I will try to add new option for what you need.

    Can you tell me do you use the native WordPress latest post widget or some other?

    Hi! Thanks for replying – Im using the native recent post widget. So what I want is to hide the posts from front page but not hide postlink/post title from recent post widget ?? Thanks!
