Hide on Posts Page

    I’m trying to use the Hide on Posts Page (when using a static front page) option to hide some widgets for posts, but it just won’t work. All the other checkboxes function as expected. This is nothing new, same thing always happened regardless of plugin version, WP version, installed plugins etc. I have a static front page and a separate blog page.

    Any advice? Thanks in advance.

    The plugin has been tested with 6.1 and seems to be working as expected for me.

    To confirm, you’d like to hide this widget from your Posts Page?

    The box you described – “Hide on Posts Page (when using a static front page)” – should do that. If it’s not doing what you expect, please let me know what exactly where you’re trying to hide it (a URL or link would be very helpful).

    In the meantime I found a workaround, pls consider it resolved.

    Hi Jason, thanks for getting back to me so quickly. I just posted the above message right before you replied.

    Actually it might be a false alarm, it does hide the widget on the posts page when this checkbox is checked. However, I wanted to hide it on single posts too, not just on the index page. So I misunderstood the functionality.

    Anyways, as a workaround I checked the “hide for all categories”. Only posts have categories assigned to them, so that works.

    Maybe in a future version it’d be useful to have a checkbox “hide for all posts”.
