Hide or Remove User Switching option inside Edit User

Hi, there is no such option under settings. In settings- there are options for–

Override Role Edit Permissions, Remove Non-Standard Capabilities on Restore, Disable Navigation Menu Permissions, Override Navigation Menu Permissions, Use Old Widgets UI, Login Page URL, Hide Secondary Roles in User Profile, Remove Data on Uninstall.

Kindly tell me where is this option.

To enable debugging in WordPress, you need to set the ‘WP_DEBUG’ constant to true in your wp-config.php file. Once you have done that, you’ll be able to see the Debug tab under Settings. From there, you can enable the ‘Disable User Switching’ option to hide User Switching.

There is an alternative method to hide User Switching. You can remove the ‘switch_users’ capability from the role, which will also disable the switch users functionality.

This only disables user switching when WP_DEBUG is enabled. That doesn’t really make sense. Can it be a normal option and possibly disabled by default. It is quite buggy. I have been using User Switcher for a while which works fine.

You can remove the ‘switch_users’ capability from the specific role, which will also disable the switch users functionality.
