Hide posts from certain category

Hi, is there a plugin that is capable of hiding post from a certain category on the whole site? I’ve tried ACE and Hide categories and some other, but the one thing they all lack is tha single post page. Links to posts in those hidden categories still remain there – You know – the links to next and previous posts.
