Hide preferred time if other shipping option selected?

    Good afternoon
    I have just stumbled across an issue with the functionality on my website while using the plugin…
    I have the option for customers to select either local pickup or delivery. If the customer picks delivery, they are being forced to select a pickup time, even though they do not intend to pickup.
    Is it possible to hide/disable the plugin if delivery is selected rather than pickup? Or for it not to be compulsory for checkout?

    Sorry, should have said – I tried the suggestion from a previous thread (https://github.com/mattbanks/woocommerce-local-pickup-time/issues/23) and it does remove the dropdown box but still comes up with a ‘please select a pickup time’ error.

    There is currently no option to set this. There is an existing issue item opened for this and it’s slated to be resolved in the next release. That issue does detail some custom edits that might work if you’re inclined to edit the plugin to get something working prior to an official release with the feature added.

    Any ETA on this? Have been trying all sorts of delivery/pickup plugins the last 2 days and none hide the delivery option when WC only shows local pickup. Shop should be launched tomorrow, so I’d better start editing this source code, unless an update is just around the corner.

    @puregraphx I would say the next release is still at least 4 weeks off. If you need it as soon as tomorrow then you’ll probably need to edit the code on your own. I am the only one working on the plugin, in my spare time, so it’s been harder to get feature releases out. I usually prioritize “bugs” that are causing issues and try to get those out asap. For the next round of enhancements I started with some significant code cleanup and build process changes in order to ensure that I’m properly supporting a target set of WordPress and WooCommerce versions for support. Anyways, sorry for the delay.

    sorry to bring that back but I have 2 questions:

    1) @vickylbh , you said that the solution on github wasn’t working for you, what did you do? Have you found a new solution?

    2) @tnolte if you have a solution (the one on github) that seems to work on a lot of version, can’t you just copy and paste this solution and add it to your really nice plugin or do you need some kind of approval? I know that you’re alone and it’s a really great plugin, you don’t have a lot of time as you’re working on your spare time but if the solution is there why not implementing it?
