Hide product detail pages

Looks like you have already commented out the “a” opening and closing tags. I can’t spot anything wrong with what you’ve done.

But if you’re using a 2.4 compatible theme with WC 2.5 you may get other problems. Are you sure your theme hasn’t brought out a 2.5 compatible update? Don’t rely on an admin page notice. Not all themes have the “update-waiting” feature.

If you can’t debug your theme’s content-product.php you may have to wait for a theme update. Press the vendor, they are probably working on it. Then you can use the remove-actions method.

I tested remove-actions on Storefront which does not have a theme specific content-product.php. Maybe that’s an option for you if you need an immediate fix.

Thanks for all your help. The themes last update was Dec 12th so Woocommerce must have updated since then. I’m half tempted to override Woocommerce with 2.4.

I did message the theme author about getting something updated, I have a Woocommerce plugin that is conflicting with outdated theme files. Hopefully they get back to me or I will have to update them myself because I am on a deadline.

Oh, the crazy world of web development, lol.
