Hide Products and Product Categories for a Specific Language

    Hi, I am setting up my website https://www.easy-grow.co.uk to be multi language using your great qtranslate plugin. However I have a problem and wondered if you could help me.

    We are a european wholesaler and as such, there are come products and categories that we do not sell to the European market only the UK. So i’m wondering if there’s a way to hide a specific product category for individual languages?

    Any support would be much appreciated I can’t find anything online.

    This sounds like a new feature request, I updated page https://qtranslatexteam.wordpress.com/desirable/. I am not sure when we will be able to get on it. However, you are more than welcome to implement this feature and to submit a pull request at GitHub.

    I was thinking a bit more about this, it would be actually very ambiguous. Somebody may be in uk and use different language. Why would you separate products by language? There should be some other way to define the region to sell a product, which is not based on the language and unrelated to qtx? Maybe IP? Have you tried to search for other plugins which would enable such a separation?

    If you still wish to do it by language, you may simply not to translate certain products to certain languages and have option “Hide Content which is not available for the selected language” turned on (page /wp-admin/options-general.php?page=qtranslate-x#general). Would that work for you?
