Hide Quantity Field for Variable Products

    I am selling an spoken word piece and I have it set up as a variable product so people can buy a CD, a DVD, or download an MP3. Having the quantity selector for CDs and DVDs is fine but it doesn’t make sense for the MP3 version. Is there anything I can do to hide the quantity field for only the MP3 version of the product? This would be needed on the product page as well as the cart page.

    Since the Mp3 is going to be a virtual product/downloadable product, in the Variation level you can select Virtual option to remove any weight/shipping requirement, and then do not check off manage stock next to it as there is no stock to manage. This would keep it out of visibility on the product page, while you can check the box off for the other manage stock items to show stock for them.
