I unchecked the box, Saved, then went back and rechecked the box and clicked Save again. It is now removing reviews without comments but now there is only 5 reviews showing instead of 10.

It should be pulling 10 reviews with comments, not just filtering out those within the “first” 10.

In the free plugin we download the last 10 reviews, and you can filter those only.

If you want to have more or all your reviews please consider subscribing in the admin page: trsutindex.io

There, you’ll have the option to show all reviews without comments or manually select them.

Well that is kind of misleading then, because after it is configured with filtering, it should show 10 reviews based on the criteria selected. It shouldn’t “download” anything until the widget is configured.

What if someone’s last 10 reviews had either no comments in their reviews and/or not show reviews under 4 stars – that means this plugin would be completely useless because at that point it wouldn’t show anything, thus wasting someone’s time.

Should seriously think about your model here and change it to where it only downloads reviews “after” the widget is configured and pulls reviews based on filtering criteria.

The plugin downloads the last 10 reviews with or without the filters. In the case you explained, more reviews should be pulled in, but we offer the 10 newest ones.

This is a free service, if you need more reviews, we suggest you consider subscribing to the admin page.

Again, that is the issue here. That it is not pulling the latest 10 reviews after applying any type of filtering. It is filtering out everything with the first downloaded 10, which in each case we have found, is only leaving 5 or so remaining reviews, not 10.

After applying a filter, it should “recheck” to see if there are more reviews available in order to display the 10 most recent reviews.

The plugin doesn’t guarantee 10 reviews. It offers the last 10 reviews you got, which you can manage or filter. I understand you want to have 10 reviews with the filters, but the plugin doesn’t work like that. It gives you the option to display 10 reviews, without any filters. It’s possible to have 10 reviews with filters, but only in the admin.
