    Hello,

I created a Helpie FAQ Group and used the shortcode to display it on a page.

I would like to hide the search bar. Under Settings, I turned off the option to “Show Search in FAQ,” but the search bar is still visible. How can I hide it?

    Thank you.

  • Hi @mfulham ,

Disabling the search in the “Show Search in FAQ” option should hide the search bar in the group shortcode page also.

    1. Could you please if this is a conflict with any of your plugins or the theme that you are using?

    2. If this is not a conflict, could you please attach a screenshot of what exactly you have configured so that I could get an idea of where the mistake might be?

Looking forward to hearing back from you.

    Kind Regards.

Hi Stephen, thank you for your help.

I think there is a conflict with the WooCommerce plugin.

I inserted the shortcode into a regular page, and the FAQs display without the search box. But on WooCommerce product pages, including composite products, the search bar is still visible.

The WooCommerce plugin is not something that I can remove. In the meantime, I will hide the search box with CSS.

    Best,
    Margaret

    Hi @mfulham ,

We have a separate setting to hide the FAQ search in Products page.

Helpie FAQ -> Settings -> Integrations -> WooCommerce -> Show FAQ Search. You can disable this option.

Hope that helps. Feel free to let me know if there is anything else I could help you with.

    Kind Regards.
