    When adding a product to the basket and clicking cart button it shows Royal Mail Live Rate options instead of ‘Shipping costs are calculated during checkout’ which is supposed to show.

    Woocommerce has ‘Hide shipping costs until an address is entered.’ ticked.

    Both sites are the same but rentfree shows the wrong message.

    I have set up a staging version of rentfree and have deactivated all plugins apart from woocommerce and Royal Mail Lives Rates and I still don’t get the ‘Shipping costs are calculated during checkout’ message.

    Royal Mail Lives Rates plugin creators say it’s a WC issue as that is what controls the message I should see.

    From what I gather, despite both https://rentfreegascylinders.co.uk and https://bbqgasbottles.co.uk having the exact same settings, under WooCommerce > Settings, and the exact same plugins activated and set up, having the Hide shipping costs until an address is entered option active on the site at https://bbqgasbottles.co.uk has different outcome. Correct?

    Just to clarify, did you already have a chance to try with setting up different shipping zones, while having Shipping Live Rates for Royal Mail for WooCommerce deactivated, and see how that goes, or otherwise? What was the outcome?

    If I de-activate the Royal Mail Live Rates then the cart shows the correct message.

    I have spoken to the plugin developers who say:

    If ‘Shipping costs are calculated during checkout’ is a WC native option, then it is WC responsibility to hide it. However, it doesn’t and Royal Mail rates are shown. That’s why please contact directly with WC support. They will have more knowledge about WC mechanism as it’s their plugin and should be able to help you with this. From our side, it’s not something what our plugin is responsible for. It does what it should – shows live rates. So, if you are using WC for hiding it, but it doesn’t work, then it has to be explained with WC.

    They say it’s down to WC.
