Hide Simple Author from Custom Post Type

    Hi,

    I have a custom post type for events created by WP Event Manager. How do I turn off Simple Author box from showing on anything but regular posts?

    I am currently hiding it via CSS but would rather stop the script from loading altogether. Is there a setting I am missing to control which post types it is displayed on?
