Hide specific category from list

  • Hi, is there any chance just to hide category name from categories list? i want to hide 1 category, maybe there is any plugin for that? or easy php code? im so lost now

    Can you tell me why do you want to hide a category? Where is this category not supposed to appear? Some more details about this would help me look for a trick to do the change.

    I want just to remove category name from category list widget, but i need to have it for myself( i mean to see at back end) Products can be shown on shop list and all.

    All i want is to remove from Category list widget ??
