    Hi,

I’m managing a blog website where some of the posts are translated but others aren’t. Is there a way to hide the language switcher on select posts and force the primary language there at the same time?

I don’t know much about CSS, but is there a line I could add targeting the posts I don’t want translated? or maybe add a CSS ID to those pages?

Thank you for your help ??

    Hi,

You can exclude entire posts from being translated using our Do not translate certain paths feature from TP Settings –> Advanced tab.

Hi, Thank you for your quick response!

I already added my url to this section and the switcher still shows on the page.

I forgot to mention that I display my switcher by adding a menu item for each languages (fr and en) with CSS to make the current one dissapear.

Is there something else I can try ?

    Thank you ??

    Hi,

Let me know through a screenshot how to exclude those posts using the Do not translate certain paths feature.

Looking forward to your reply if it’s still an issue.

    Hello again,

I tried adding this url https://www.curiousbackpackers.ca/guide-voyage-progreso-mexique/

To the ”Do not translate certain paths” with ”Exclude Paths From Translation” marked.

I am sorry, I don’t know how to attach an image (screenshot) to these messages.

    Hi,

You need to use an external attachment tool and let us know the shareable link.

However, you have to exlcude only the /guide-voyage-progreso-mexique/, not the entire URL.
