Hide the Meta Box for non-public post types

The conversions meta box is showing up as an option on every single post type in WordPress – even ones where it’s definitely not relevant – for example ACF Field Group or SEO Press Redirections.
Is it possible to check for register_post_type > public being set to false and not show it in that case?
A setting on the settings page to hide/show per post type would also be great to put on the feature request list, but I think just hiding on non-public CPTS would be easier to implement and a great place to start.
