Hide the rest of the web site?

Can you explain that in a bit more detail? Who *can* see your website? Are users required to login?

There is no login. It is read only. No comment areas.
I would like that anyone who knows the web site already (my students) to have free access but when I post the link on a web site then users of that link should not be able to walk around the web site. They are to stay on that page only.

I don’t think that’s possible if you don’t require a login.

I figures as such but had to check just the same. It looks as if I will have to create a new web site just for this purpose.

With my luck lately, after I go through all that work then someone will say “Easy, all you have to do is…”

Yes. There are a number of plugins that let you restrict access for non-logged-in users.
