"Hide the Subscribe & Connect feature in Wootique" does not work

In Settings -> Subscribe & Connect -> Display, I see a section called WooThemes Overrides with the following note: “We noticed your current active theme, Wootique, uses the WooFramework and includes our original Subscribe & Connect feature. Override it here.”
I have the standalone Subscribe & Connect plugin installed on my site, so I checked the “Hide the Subscribe & Connect feature in Wootique” option to eliminate the confusion of having this feature available in multiple places. Unfortunately, checking this option did nothing. I went into Wootique -> Settings and the Subscribe & Connect page is still available. Also, in Appearance -> Widgets, the “Woo – Subscribe / Connect” widget is still available. Can you please advise on how to disable / hide the WooThemes version of Subscribe & Connect to make things simpler?
