It could happen for your theme, if your theme uses some sort of fadeOut effect on link click, please try changing theme temporarily. You may also check if there is any enable/disable option for that effect with your theme.

This is a very bad issue with this Plugin, there should be simple checkbox “Disable or Enable Link to Details page” I am using the shortcode and I dont want them to be able to CLICK the File name and go to details page I want that only to be simple text and they have to only click download.

Tell me how to do this, you keep saying go to https://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/doc/template-files/ but i dont understand that website

@cheque99 That is even not an issue with the plugin, this is a full feature document management and digital ecommerce plugin, almost all users need the details page to show the details of their downloads or digital product.
However, if you want to remove the link from the title, you may use the link template Default Template Old ( link-template-default-old). The shortcode should be like:
[wpdm_package id="123" template="link-template-default-old"]

@shafayat-alam this works but it moves download link from right side to under text, is there way to keep download button on right side with this shortcode you provided?
