    Hi everyone,

    We are wondering if anybody can help us apply CSS code that can completely hide the TranslatePress Language Switcher. The only reason we needed the plugin was to perform translations. We don’t want users to have the option to switch languages.
    We’ve already tried adding the following code to Astra’s additional CSS option, to no avail:
    .translatepress-en_US .tp_en,
    .translatepress-nl_NL .tp_nl {
    display: none !important;}

    We haven’t tried disabling the plugin, but if that hides the Language Switcher and keeps the translated pages and redirects, then great!

    Thanks in advance!

    Kind regards,

    Frank

  • Hello there,

    Thanks for reaching out to us!

    Your best approach in this case would be to go to the TranslatePress settings, deactivate the floating language switcher. After that if you remove the language switcher from your menu then the user will not have any other way of switching languages.

    One other option would be to add your URL to the Do not translate certain paths option under the Advanced and after that add it once again with a wildcard at the end so you exclude every other page.

    Let me know if this option are suitable for your needs.

    Best Regards

    Hi Andrei,

    Thank you for the reply.
    I would like to try out the first option you mentioned. However, I can’t find where to deactivate the floating language switcher, and I also don’t know how to remove the language switcher from the menu, or which menu that should be. Can you please guide me?

    Thanks!

    Kind regards,

    Frank
