Hide unselected options in 1.4 & friendly URLs

Hi this plugin is fantastic – I have a few questions if someone can help please?

1) Can this plugin work with friendly URLs?
I currently get a ‘page not found’ why I try it

2) How do I prevent unselected options from being hidden in v1.4
The solution to solving this in previous versions no longer seems to work as the code you change doesn’t exist (at least not in the same file)
It would be useful to have a different CSS class for unavailable options instead.

3) How do I add this to a page other than the homepage
I get a ‘page not found’ error again
