hide wp-admin as well as wp-login

    Hi, installed the plugin and have followed the process through to secure our site. When checking wp-login, we correctly get a 404 error. However, when using wp-admin we still get directed through to the normal wp-login page. Have we missed something or does this plugin not secure wp-admin as well. Many thanks, N

    Yep, it should secure wp-admin, and it does. So you probably have another plugin running that is jumping in before ours and redirecting you to the login page.

    Hi Paul, thanks for the reply. It was actually simpler than that for me, I noticed an alert message that said something like if I was logged in as an administrator, the hiding of wp-login etc wouldn’t work! Logged out and sure enough I couldn’t see it – does that make sense to you? Thanks, N
