HIDE WP-ADMIN ETC .

    Hello, although I have configured to hide wp-admin.admin, wp-login.php etc. and I have successfully configured the new login link on the website, yesterday for some minutes (or hours), I don’t know, it didn’t work and I could to connect from wp-admin etc. Today, from what I saw, it is ok and only the new login link that I have set is working, but why did this happen please??? I don’t remember changing with any of the settings, what should I watch out for? Thanks .

    Hi Giorgos,

    Please keep in mind that even if wp-login and wp-admin have the same purpose, to login on WP, they are different. Changing the the login path will not affect wp-admin, as you’ll need to change the admin path as well.

    However, from what you’ve described, it was most likely a cache issue.

    Besides this, run a Security Scan and solve all failed tasks.

    ok thanks Yes, I just saw that this situation happened after scanning with wordfence. is everything ok? Is there any problem ? I’ll wait for the new login link on the website to work again, I’m using Lite Mode

    Just to better understand your situation. After scanning with Wordfence the login path doesn’t work anymore?

    Also, make sure that you don’t change the login path from Wordfance, but only from Hide My WP Ghost plugin. What I would recommend is to follow this article on how to use the two plugins together https://hidemywpghost.com/hide-my-wp-and-wordfence/

    Hello . After scanning with wordfence, the new login link worked, but also worked the login through wp-admin, wp-login.php, etc. The next day, only the new login link worked (the one I had configured through Hide My WP Ghost, thank you

    And do the default wp paths are working now? If not, it was just a cache problem, so you don’t need to worry about it anymore.
