Hide/disable floating success message v4.8

We are using CF7 to collect some email addresses temporarily and after the form submission we are redirecting to a new page that has another call to action. Currently the success “fly-in” message appears briefly before the redirect with the exclamation mark symbol which looks like some error before the page is redirected. Anyone know how to disable/hide that success message? I would want any error/failure message to show of course. With the new setup, not sure how to do this.

ALSO… I did save a copy of CF7 4.7 since I’ve seen some posts about compatibility issues with v4.8.
