Hiding Certain Things From Users

Your links don’t seem to work.

I think the options you want to hide are the options in the ‘meta’ widget. You can use the function is_user_logged_in() to conditionally hide those options.

Here’s the code for the right hand side of the site I don’t use any widgets so please keep that in mind please.

I think what you need to do is wrap all the lines between
<div id="sidebarl"> and <h1> REQUESTS Only </h1> in an if test for is_user_logged_in:

thats how i pasted the code you wrote for me sir. the girl has to go to her class so I don’t know anyone else that can check for me now.
Also, if this works I hope admins can see the left hand side bar for like the links and shit?? cause I just want “Dashboard” to be hidden from normal users

OK – take a few minutes and list all the items in the sidebar and for each one say who should see it (everyone, all logged in, admin only).

The way to use the code I showed is to take all the lines that were between <div id="sidebarl"> and <h1> REQUESTS Only </h1> and put them between the if and endif lines. Don’t throw them away, just move them.

I will give you an example – you will need to change the conditions to suit your needs.

There is a line like this in your code:

<a href="https://youarethescene.net/wp-admin/">Dashboard</a>

That line gives the link to the dashboard. To show that line only to Administrators, put it inside an if test like this:
