Hiding e-mail address only in member directory?

    Is there a way to not display the e-mail address that the users registered with? I’d like to be able to display social links, like youtube, twitter etc, but hide their e-mail address.

    Yes there is. Whereabouts are the email addresses being shown?

    They were being displayed in the member directory search as well as when you viewed someone’s individual profile. I wanted to keep emails private.

    It was my bad though.. I added an extra E-mail field in the profile form. Removing it did the trick. In the process, I also realized that you can customize each field to be shown to only specific roles (while on the edit form screen, click the pencil icon next to the field in question). Might be useful in the future!
