Hiding Excerpts from homepage

Thank for using our theme.

We checked your site home page and there is no Excerpt displayed. Did you hide it?

Can you please explain what is the problem you are facing with the widgets in the sidebar and front page?

Thank you for response. The first two lines of the article is coming on the homepage which is making it look bad. Please look at the image for reference.

The problem with the widgets is they are making no difference to my homepage. EM double categories posts, EM posts- double column, etc are a few widgets that I have put in the front page content section in the widget area but they come as disabled. My front page content section still has one single column.
Please assist.

Please add the below CSS codes on Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS

.entry-header-details .post-excerpt {
    display: none;
}

Thank you for the code. It worked! Also, please address my second query for the widgets. The double column widgets are all greyed out and my site doesn’t look good with just a single column on the homepage.

There is no double column widget used on your site. There is only the blog listing and the featured section on the top. Would you please come up with the screenshot so that we can understand the query.

To display the widgets in front page,

1. Go to pages and make a Front Page and select the front page template from the right side.
2. Next, go to setting reading and select that page as a static front page.

After that, you will get the widgets displayed on the front page.

And the second image that you have shared above is not able to open. We don’t have permission to see. Please check once.
