Hiding pages

  • I want to do some major alterations on the website affecting all pages. Hence would like to hide all pages except the home page which will carry a notification about the work.
    I can do so by marking the pages private or draft one by one, but this will be too much work both to hide these and unhide later.
    Please suggest a good way.
