    HI,

I am working on a site theme I purchased but I want to hide some of the pages until the content has been established with certainty. I wondered whether someone could advise me on how to hide the pages?

Switching their visibility to “private” (the setting is in the Publish dialog) should prevent them from being visible to the public, including in article lists and menus. This is the best and most effective way of controlling access to content that is not meant to be viewed people other than yourself.

On a more general note, you can exercise control over the content of menus by using the Appearances > Menus page.

Unfortunately I can’t find anything on hiding pages under “Appearances > Menu”. I am hunting for “Publish” settings too to try hiding the pages from there.

Edit one of the Pages you want to hide. Locate the Publish pane in the right-hand column and select “Edit” next to “Visibility: Public”.

Oops, I found the Publish settings.. Many thanks for the advice.
