    Hello!
With the old editor, I was able to hide quite a lot from the writers of our website, filtering “tiny_mce_before_init”. I was able to only add a stripped down editor for everyone, setting up the team of 50+ writers for success, design wise.

With Gutenberg, I’d love to again hide as much as possible from our writers. I’ve figured out a way to call a javascript file if the writer isn’t the designer or me based on user id’s, and I was able to turn off some blocks for the rest of the group. I was able to hide part of certain blocks with css too (text colors, sizing, etc) which felt a little hacky but I didn’t know what else to do.

I haven’t been able to hide everything though, as a lot of the divs do not have unique classes or ids, for example, the alignment in paragraphs from the left side of the editor (i was able to hide it in the right block column).

Is there a better way of doing this? Is there documentation on this anywhere? I haven’t been able to find much.

    Thank you!
