Hiding/replacing content in preview

  • In the example page linked when you’re not logged in you can see the YouTube URL of a video that would otherwise have auto-embeded via WordPress magic. Is there any way I can either hide that URL or else have Leaky Paywall process that content behind the overlay?

    Under Leaky Paywall > Settings > Subscriptions try setting the Custom Excerpt Length to 1.

    We still have posts with normal text content that we’d like to show preview text for. Any way we can override teh custom excerpt length for maybe a certain taxonomy/category to do the video posts? Or a hook I could use to filter video posts once the Leaky Paywall kicks in to replace those youtube links with placeholder text?

    Yes, there is the filter leaky_paywall_nag_excerpt you can use.
