Hiding Section of Page Editor

  • I will be teaching a seminar to a group of students and each student will be designing and publishing a finished web page as part of a class project. The school teaching section uses a WordPress CMS.

    At the bottom of the page editor, there is an option to insert two school images onto the bottom of each published page (in the footer area). The school does not want to include this capability in the course, thus they want to hide this action from the students. Student role will be a Publisher (renamed Editor Role).

    Would appreciate any ideas anyone can share on how to write the capabilities for this!,
