    Hey,

Is there a way to hide synced products on woo so they still display correctly on zettle? Temporarily or on a more permanent basis. I believe draft products won’t sync but would the integration still work if a product was under review, privately published or a variation is disabled on woo?

    Thanks again

    Matt

  • Hey Matt!

I’ve just recently started using Zettle. It does not sync privately published products in WooCommerce to Zettle.

    Hello @mattyblob

I have tested your suggestion and found the following:
    – if you publish it privately, it will still be visible to the logged in users. Only the guest users will not see the product. They will be visible on Zettle.
    – Products that are under review or drafts might be the solution for you. They are not visible on the site and they seem to be showing on the Zettle web page.

So I guess for now you can use the “under review” status to get the result you want. I will open a feature request for this as well, we can add a clear option in the “PayPal Zettle POS” tab on the WooCommerce product pages. I will link this thread to that, so you will be made aware once this is available.

I hope this helps you further. Let me know if you have any more questions or if we can mark this thread as resolved.

    Kind regards,
    Joost

    Hi Joost,

Thank you for this. As you can probably tell we’re looking at beginning the process of integrating with Zettle very shortly and your service makes me confident we’ve made the right choice!

I’ve just one more question – is it possible to sync one zettle store with two separate woo stores providing there are no conflicting product skus?

    All the best

    Hello @mattyblob

yes, this is definitely possible. You just need to generate a separate API key for both WooCommerce libraries and when you do the 2nd synchronization, make sure to choose to “add” and not “replace” the Zettle library.
I have just tested this myself on a multisite and all seemed to work as expected.
Let me know if you run into any issues or have specific situations that you want me to test.

    Kind regards,
    Joost
