Hiding tags

  • I found this post whilst trying to figure out how to hide all the tags from the reader, on my twenty ten themed blog, and just wondered if this has any affect on SEO? I’m assuming not, but want to be sure before implementing..

    Ok, I thought I’d fixed this, but apparently I only removed the tags from the posts on the home page. When I look at the individual posts, the tags are back!?!

    Any thoughts on what needs changing?

    The code I used to hide the tags was:

    .tag-links {

    display:none

    }

    I don’t understand why this wouldn’t hide the tag links across the entire site!?!

    Anyone have any thoughts?

    Adding .entry-utility gets rid of all the tags, but also removes the links for category and comments, which I don’t want to lose…
