• Hi guys,

I have a problem with large images on my site https://www.keypressgraphics.com.

The product thumbnails displayed on the store’s main page are saved as high quality JPEGs, because when they are viewed in each product’s detail page (along with the other two for each product) I want them to look to the customer.
Unfortunately they are weighing down my main store page due to their size.

Is there a way I can save low quality versions to be displayed only on the main store page, or set them to not appear in each product’s detail page? (I’ll put a higher res version there instead)

Thanks for any assistance you can offer.

  • I just took a look at your product images and they’re very small. ~60kb in many cases. This shouldn’t cause any issues whatsoever.

FYI you can adjust the image dimensions in the WooCommerce settings (Products > Display tab). Just remember to regenerate your thumbnails if you change that setting.

The products image on store main page are according to the thumbnail size in woocommerce product settings and should be causing issue in loading.
You can reduce more the thumbnail size to increase the fast loading.
