hiding widgets

    Can the free or pro version of this plugin allow me to hide widgets for certain roles when logged in (to prevent the wrong role editing another roles widget)?

    For example if I have role1 widget and role2 widget in my sites sidebar, showing on the correct page or category posts.

    I want it set up so when
    role1 logs they can only see their widget
    role2 logs in they can only see their widget

    I would need to be able to create many custom roles and then identify what widget will show up for what role when logged in.

    Hope you’re well today ??

    Unfortunately no, Custom Sidebars only allows you to replace sidebars on different locations in your theme, meaning you can choose to set different sidebars for different pages, posts, archive pages and so on.

    You can’t display or hide widgets based on user role in Custom Sidebars.
