Hiding your posts page

    Hi all,

    I’ve got a menu using wp_list_pages working. I’m excluding pages I don’t want to show up via their IDs. All works well, except that I don’t really want to show the posts page. In the reading settings, I have homepage set to a static page, and posts page to a page called posts (id=128). When i exclude page 128 from my menu call, it still shows up. What’s up?

  • I’m not able to duplicate your problem either at 2.6.2 or 2.7-bleeding. Visit Manage->Pages and hover the mouse over that page and look at the status bar to make sure you are using the correct value in the exclude parameter of the template tag, wp_list_pages().
