Hierarchical options not appearing

  • I created a new content type, configured to be hierarchical. I created a few pages before I noticed that neither in the edit form nor in the quick edit form offers a selector for parent page appear.

    In case it was a one-time glitch, I created another test content type and created a couple of posts, but the same problem occurs.

    Is there a step I’m missing?

    WP 5.3.2, Astra Pro child theme
