Hierarchical Page Bulk Import

  • Hi

    Based on Really simple CSV importer documentation we can able to import page with page parent using its ID…

    ‘post_parent`: (int) The post parent id. Used for page or hierarchical post type.

    But the problem is if we have page Hierarchy page structure something like parentpage1 > childpage1> grandchildpage …

    Then how can i import the page content to grandchildpage by assigning the page ID to parentpage1 and childpage1 for bulk import?

    You can import pages step by step from parent to child.

    Thanks for your quick update..

    In my website i have 5 parent pages for every page and i have plan to import with 100s of pages in the above specified structure. Is there any way to import such hierarchy pages in single step?

    I think it is hard because WordPress doesn’t have such API to insert hierarchical page structure.
