    Hi there,
First thing: I love your plugin!!!!
i’m not sure if this is possible but I have my media categories set up in hierarchies ie:
    Cat One
    Cat1.1
    Cat 1.1a
    Cat 1.1b
    Cat1.2
    Cat1.3
    …..
    Cat Two
    ….
    Cat Three
    Are there shortcodes that will:
Only show the top level categories (Cats One, Two, Three etc) when clicked then:
Only show the first level of child Cats (Cats 1.1, 1.2, 1.3) when clicked then:
Show the remainder of child Cats (1.1a, 1.1b) etc
I know I could set this all up manually but it would be nice to do it using just a shortcode.
    I hope this makes sense
    Thanks

    Hello,

It is possible to categorize images hierarchically but at the moment GoGalery does not display multi-level hierarchical galleries. You still can build it manually, for that you’d have to create different galleries for every category level. In the future we may add this feature.

    Thanks!

    Hi,
I trying to avoid setting up so many galleries. I don’t suppose you know of a way of linking your shortcode to the output of a dropdown field ….say “…cat=”dropdownname…”?
    Many thanks
